Snowfall, with total amounts of about 10 cm is expected.

A vigorous disturbance moving eastward from southern Alaska is spreading snow to Kluane and Haines Junction regions with snow expecting to begin in Whitehorse early this morning. Northest winds 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h will accompany the disturbance giving reduced visibilities in blowing snow. The snow will ease by early this evening as the system weakens as it pushes across the southwest Yukon.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
