Strong winds and blowing snow expected on Tuesday.

A low pressure system forecast to develop off the East Coast of the United States early on Monday, will intensify as it moves northeastward to cross Newfoundland Monday night. Current model guidance suggests that fresh snowfall and strong winds associated with this system are likely to generate widespread blowing snow over Southeastern Labrador on Tuesday.

There is significant uncertainty regarding the exact track and intensity of this low at this time. Environment Canada will continue to monitor the development of this system, providing updates as new information becomes available.
